Writing
Kate has written four semi-biographical plays and toured them internationally to rave reviews.
Her play-turned-pilot PolySHAMory, was a 2019 finalist in the Sundance Episodic Lab.
She has written jokes for Stacey Abrams, Busy Phillips, and Kathy Griffin with her work with BUSTLE Rule Breakers festival and The Shorty Awards.
She received writing residencies at Byrdcliffe, University of Tennessee, Drop Forge and Tool, and was awarded the 2019 Jerome Foundation Scholarship for Americans in the Arts.
She has an MFA in writing from California College of the Arts.
